MH44 versus MH30 Rearend...?

What are the main differences between a MH30 and a MH44 rear end?

What would be the approximate weight difference?

Not sure if really any weight difference, gearing is changed a bit on 44 4 cyl though. 30 and 44-6 are geared the same, 1500-540 pto while 44-4 is 1350-540. Ground speeds are changed also.

I believe the axles are the same for 44,33 and 30 with there being 3 styles, standard, rowcrop and rice. I know the gearing is different. There are 3 styles of axle housings, Standard, Row Crop and Rice with the Standard housings being the shortest and lightest. The rice configuration may have only been on the 44's.

The Rice axles and housings were available on the 333, 444 only after I reviewed the parts books.
