I'm restoring a massey harris mustang with a bad eng. The eng. needs a major over haul di you think it would be cheaper to try to find another eng.

I had the same problem a few years back with my "22". After sizing up the cost of a rebuild, I chose to look around. I found a 140 engine out of a M-H 35 combine that a guy was junking out. It took some messing around to do the interchange, but was well worth it! Runs like a champ & has plenty of power. I gave $150 for the engine.
