Hello everone newbie here.
On my 135 multi power with Perkins Diesel I have a question about the starter wiring. The neg ground wire running from the battery goes to a post located on the end of the starter. I bought a new starter that does not have this post on it. Can I relocate this ground to another place on the starter or do I need a starter with this same ground post?

You can ground it elsewhere. I grounded my 65 to one
of the starter mounting bolts.

Good deal. The AD3.152 Perkins diesel is one of the best diesel engines ever built.

Here are a few pictures of my 135. I just got her Saturday. Everything seems to work as it should.
I replaced the starter and the Negative battery cable. I noticed the ignition wires leading to the starter were brittle from age and heat. I guess that's my next project.

If you bought it that way (new paint, looks like a nice seat, and good tires) $4700 is not that bad. You ought to see some the 135 diesels for sale where I am. From $2500 for a very rough to $3500 for a half way decent one.
