how do you pull the tranny top cover on 1971 MF30

I pulled all the bolts on the top cover but it still feels solid? Do I need to pull the four large nuts off of the studs also? What else do I need to know about if I pull the top cover? My three point is dead and I am going to check the pump.

First, do what ptfarmer said below in your other post. The four bolts to NOT remove are cicled in red. Remove the four bolts holding the seat! The arrow points to the piece that can be used to 'gently' pry to break loose. I used a chain and my back to get mine off. I used an engine lift to re-install, you do the math ;-)Good Luck!
