z134 vs z145

is the z145 a better block than the 134 have herd a lot of cracking problems with the 134 and I have one of them.. thanks for the help

The problems with them is that they are a wet sleeve engines, they are cast pretty thin, and the oil filter does not filter the oil going to the bearings (the oil that gets filtered is returned to the crankcase). The 145 is a little different in some areas but they all crack. There is the method of cross bolting the block between the sleeves to give it some strength.
