Wheel Weights for MF135

I am having a very difficult time finding any rear
wheel weights for a MF135, 24" wheels, bolt pattern
is 8 1/2" apart, and 10" across. Anyone have any
suggestions on where to find some, or any other model
wheel weights that would fit? The rear tires are
already filled but I need more traction in snow due to the loader up-front.

Thanks.

The bolt pattern for the rear weights are the 4 bolt holes in the wheel disc.If you are looking for new call Taylor Foundry,or used at Wengers.

Thanks, yes, the hole pattern mentioned in the post is the correct measurements. I will check with Wengers in Myerstown.

Look at industrial tractors, my 2135 industrial (practically the same tractor as yours) came with the wheel weights (24" rear wheels).

My 2135 industrial when I bought it.

Hang a heavy weight from the three point linkage such as a block of concrete. That is a really great way to counterbalance a front end loader. Not only that, if you find you don't need extra weight on the rear wheels for other jobs such as mowing, you can easily take it off again and you won't be carrying excess baggage about with you.

That front end loader is not that heavy, and hanging weight off the 3pt, the tractor would drive like a backhoe (too light on the front). Another thing when you start trying to push the rear tires even when spinning it's trying to lift the front. Remember snow is heavy, and the 135 is a light tractor, if you need to move a lot of snow you need a heavy tractor. I think you best bet is to get a 2' - 3' running start, when the tractor starts to spin curl the bucket up, lift, backup, dump, and repeat.

Thanks. I have seen those. I really did not want to use that but since I need some weight back there when lifting with the loader, last night I welded up a weight bucket to hang off the 3 pt. hitch. I have an extra drawbar and will use that in the weight bucket and fill it with concrete. I figure it will be around 500 or 600 lbs. That should work.

Thanks PT. That is a 5' bucket on the loader and
I agree it is not too big. I have been doing as
you suggest but I can tell that it really needs
more weight in the back when I use the loader. I
have a Case 480CK with a 6' very heavy duty loader
bucket and that tractor has 900 lb weights on each
tire in the rear. There is a 3 pt hitch on that
too and even with no weight on the hitch that
loader has tremendous power and outstanding
traction. Heavy weight in the back makes a world
of difference. I think I will build a weight
bucket for the back and use that when necessary.
If I can find some wheel weights I will add those
too.

Thanks to all. I will keep you posted.

The Case 480C can weigh as much as 10,700 lbs (a minimum of 5,300 lbs). The 135 weighs in around 3,500 to 3,800 lbs. They both have about the same HP.

FYI a 55 gallon of concrete makes a good counterweight. You can put a 7/8 rod thru it and a hookup for the top link before pouring the cement and you will have between 1000 and 1100 Lbs. East to put on and remove.
