1805 4wd

I got an 1805 that I bought for no other reason than saving it
from going to the scrap yard. The person who had it before me
tried to turn it up and screwed something up in the pump, and
now it will only run off either. Anybody familiar with the pump
on 3208's? Need to get it running since I'm sure nobody would
want a non-runner. I don't need it, the only reason I bought it is
because I didn't have the heart to see it go to a scrapper. Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would start with the obvious. The fuel supply. Make sure fuel is available to filter. Fill filter with fuel and install it. crack line from filter to pump at the pump end. operate hand pump be sure you have a good fuel supply that far. tighten nut open bleed valve on pump and operate hand pump until you have clear fuel at bleeder. should go. one more thought, that tractor has an electronic fuel shut off that may not be opening. Swede

Try cracking open a couple of lines at the injectors, then use the hand pump to see if it's getting fuel.
