i'm wondering if anyone here could give an approximate value of a massey harris 333 gas row crop. It does have the 3 point hitch. no power steering. it's been buried in the back of a barn for at least 15 years according to the family. It does not run and they don't know when the last time was it did run. tractor seems to be complete and the tires hold air. any idea of what a fair price to ask for this tractor would be? its located in north central Illinois. thank you for the information.

I would say around $500 give or take a bit. Things like is it locked up and why was it parked in the first place come to mind. Tires being that old could well be may pops waiting to blow

IF you are thinking of buying it to use and DON'T know any thing about them, THEN DON'T.The engine parts are scarce to non aval.If it has LPTO and it is broken somehow, which there is a shaft and gear that did break in them and those parts have been OOOOO for 40 yrs.It might be a cherry creampuff and few dollars to fix up,however WHY has it been setting.Like Old said $500 maybe not any more cause you might get a 5000 pound lawn art.Good luck and hope maybe it is good because there were not that many made.

The 333 and 444 are a low production tractor in the Massey line as they were only produced for 2 years. They are very collectable and rough ones sell for $2000 plus. The 3pth ,if factory, is worth $500 to $600. The bad thing is that engine parts are hard to find. Take a crank or pipe wrench with you to see if it is stuck. Buy it being inside if it is it may not be too bad.

You can always put a 44 engine in it or even a 30 engine if the 333-33 engine is impossible to find. Or whatever else come to your mind. everything can fit inside of those cast iron frame.
