Proper colours for Massey super 90 gas

While I have this tractor stripped down and clean, I am thinking it would be the time to paint. I have looked at paint choices on your web site and am not sure which grey or greys to use on my tractor. I was thinking that the tractor other than the red and rear rims were all the same grey, is that correct? The rear rims appear to of been aluminum. Would love to get your thoughts and or pictures on this.

Red on the hood, fenders and wheel centers, Flint metalic gray on the chassis, Silver mist gray on the grill. Not sure on the wheels if silver or aluminum was used, I've seen restorations both ways.

For the Super 90 AGCO parts lists only Red, and Flint Metalic Grey for the colors.

Thank you for your responses, curious then on the radiator, mine is black, maybe from a previous fix should it be the flint metallic grey as well then?

Are you trying make it MF 100% original, or to your own liking? I seen a Super 90 with the MF Silver Mist Grey (lighter color than the Flint Grey) on the grill, and outer wheels, it looked pretty good.

Yes I am aiming for as close to original as possible

The grill, and probably the outer wheels would be Flint Grey Metallic.

If I remember right the radiator is black, but the fan shroud was flint metallic gray like the chassis. The flint gray was never used on the wheels on the 90.

Yes. Find an old color ad and paint it to match.
Brother painted all the grey areas on his Super 90
one color gray and looks horable.

My father was a Massey dealer for 40+ years and sold these tractors. I also own a super 90 diesel. As was stated earlier, The hood, hood side panels, dash, fenders, fuel tank, front wheels, rear wheel centers and front weight frame are all Massey red. With the exception of the aluminum spacer band between the hood and side panels (these were never painted but we're polished aluminum), the rest of the tractor, including the grill and grill center strip, is flint metallic gray. They did not start using silver mist gray until the 100 series tractors were introduced in 1964. Hope this info is helpful.
