Hello,
I need to get the rear brake drums off to get to the pads, but can't figure out what thread size the 2 bush off bolts are. They appear imperial but are not listed in the manual I have - Does anyone know?
Thanks :?:

Hello,
The size of set bolt that you require is 7/16"unc. I normally remove two bolts from the rear of the steering box and use those. If the threaded holes are rusted or full of debris you will need to clean them out first. Work the bolts in slowly back and forth until they bottom against the shaft flange. If the drum is excessively tight, tighten the bolts with sensible force and ideally using a soft hammer tap around the outside of the drum to start it moving. Make sure that you have removed the retaining screws of course. After removal clean the outside of the flange and its mating area in the drum and apply some copper grease.
