The different in 135

Have a friend that brought a 135 it's Perkins gas. It a 72 model it has the clam shell fender and lights on the hood. Mine is a 1972 with 3 cylinder Perkins diesel mine has the flat top fender with lights in the rear fender. Where there a big different in the 135 of that year just me wondering thanks

I had some neighbors over the years that had both gas and diesel MF three cylinder tractors.

The three cylinder MF diesel were very good, but they did not like the three cylinder gas models as well, however I really do not remember why they did not like them as well.

Most all liked the older MF four cylinder continental gas engines.

The 135 could be ordered by the dealers with either style
fenders. My Dad sold them both ways. Same is true regarding
gas or diesel engines, multi-power or regular transmission.
For several years you could get either the Perkins 3 cylinder
gas or the Continental 4 cylinder gas engine.
