adding starter to mh gp 4x4

We have a mh gp with 4cyl motor that we would like to add starter and generator. I was told that it is a model A car starter but reversed somehow and I have no idea were to find a generator any help would be great. Thanks

A Massey Harris 44 starter will fit straight in on the OHV GP. I used one on mine. Not sure about the earlier flat head model.
