Hi all, I have been working at some hydraulic/pto stuff on my 165 and ran into a problem. I was replacing the control valve on the pump, but prior to taking any thing apart i turned the pump over and out rolled a couple small parts.
parts b,c and ,d in the picture rolled out of the pump
part a in the picture was found loose in the hydraulic/ pto housing
If any of you all know where some of the parts came from please enlighten me!

Thanks in advance

Ok so I have never posted pic on this before and cant figure out how to do it.... so that is what i need help with first....

There aren't any small parts that can 'come out of' the hydraulic pump and still have it work at all, but there can be a bunch of things that can get into or loose from the transmission case that can get sucked into the pump.

As for posting pictures, if you are in the "modern view", it should be self explanatory from the click boxes above the 'reply' box. You may be posting in "classic" mode, and I haven't tried posting pix from there.

Here is the picture, didnt have the right format...

sorry i should have put a ruler or quarter in that picture for size reference, but the two roller type items are about 7/16'' long

Ok thanks Brendon,
I noticed that the input shaft seemed a little sloppy.

I'l check into a new bearing...

It was on the back end of the input shaft, inside
the transmission.Im not sure what it was called in
the manual. Do you have the tranny out? Do you have
a book? I think I paid 20.00 for the bearing from
Massey?

oh I thought you where talking about a input bearing into the pump, which seemed strange cause it seems to just be a bushing.

No i have the thing split behind the tranny. I'll check into what it takes to get to that bearing. I have a book, but it often leaves out what i'm looking for!
