Continental Engine!

Hello,
I have a Gardner Denver air compressor with a continental flathead engine F-162.If memory serves me right I think some of the old Massey Harris' run continentals. Can any of you Massey guys tell me if the bolt pattern on the continental is the same as some other brand of engine or even an overhead valve would be great. I had a number of problems with this thing and I worked through them up until the head gasket started leaking and I went to take the head off and three head bolts snapped. Anyway, I'm just curious if the Continental has the same bolt pattern as something else. Thanks

Cockshutt 540's have the same engine, so do millions of forklifts. It is an easy and cheap engine to re build, someone will know the place in Chicago that has all the old cont parts, but look in the YT shop first, just as easy as swapping one out for a pig in a poke. Good luck with the studs! patience patience patience..... and a torch... and a drill....
