dieselmatic

So what exactly made the 65 a dieselmatic? I'm about to order decals and I wasn't sure which way to go. This one is the newer style hood ornament, MP, differential lock, PS, in a high arch. Serial tag is long gone, it was replaced with govt. du Quebec tag. It'd been repainted when I got it and it had decals that more resembled 100 series. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

It is simply a name they used for a diesel with Multi-Power. My 1964 is a Dieselmatic. I saw a 1963 a few years ago that looked just like mine, but the decals said Massey Ferguson 65 Diesel Multi-Power. They appeared to be original.

My other 64 came badged a dieselmatic but its a regular row crop with MP and float o matic seat. My three other ones don't have MP but are older and are simply badged 65. I like the dieselmatic decals better but haven't seen a high arch labelled that way. Hmmm...
