stumped on IPTO

Ok, I have been rebuilding my 175 lift pump/cylinder and IPTO/PUMP. I had to replace the lift cylinder and piston. It works great after the repair. But my original problem with the IPTO running all the time is still an issue. I replaced the IPTO wave springs and the outer brake disk. I disassembled the pump and inspected/ cleand it. Then put all back together. I cant get the IPTO shaff to stop spinning no matter what position the lever is in. Any advice would be awsome.

I have a MF375 with the same problem. I'll be
monitoring your replies as I bought this tractor to
run a Brush Hog, but it doesn't spin fast enough to
cut.

No, disk looked brand new and no warp. Anyway, so I pulled the lift cover off again and played with it for awhile. I got it to turn on and off. It is slow to me, but I guess it has to let the oil flow stop and the springs release the disk. The more I run it the better it gets. Anyway seems to be working now.

I do seem to have a slight thumping sound when tractor is running. It is coming from the pump area. Any thoughts on this one?

yes it does have multipower. Everthing seems to working as advertised. The multipower was not working very good last time I used it. I am going to check it when I get her out today to check the hyd pressure.

Im trying to set the lift today also. There is a special tool to set the dashpot to nuetral it says. What is this special tool and what does it mean to set it to neutral?
