MF 85 3 point lift

the 3 point hitch works but not the way it was designed to. my 85 has a double spool mounted under the seat. i have to raise or lower the 3 point hitch by first moving the draft control lever then use the lever on the spooler under the seat to make it raise or lower. any suggestions on how to make the 3 point hitch raise or lower the way it was intended? thanks in advance.

Lock the left spool lever back for three point use..

Mine does the same thing. (1958 MF85) When I first bought it, thought the lift was broken until I started fooling around with the remote controls. I just got used to using the remote controls to raise the hitch.

Next time out there, I will give this a shot.
