Massey 65 - bogs out/stalls with throttle applied

I will try to keep this short. Massey 65 4 cyl continental gas, that sat for a couple months and wouldn't start. Ended up being a wiring issue with the starter switch and push button ignition. But before i had help figuring that out i started replacing ignition parts. Solenoid, 12v coil, new wires, cap and rotor, plugs and plug wires, points and condenser, all gaps checked. Also carb kit on my marvel schebler TSX-695 type C.

It starts and idles now, but upon 1/4 throttle promptly bogs and stalls. I have gone through the carb 3 times. I feel like it is not creating enough vacuum to draw fuel up through the mixture screw and through the Venturi. It also sounds not as loud as i think it should. I am going to try a compression test and also check the sediment bowl screen next. Good spark across all cylinders. When i adjust the power mixture screw past 1 turn there is no change when throttling up. It bogs to stall every time. I can adjust idle seemingly fine.

I hope you guys give me a little advice i am a novice wrencher.

Thanks,
JB

Hi guys

Checked the sediment bowl and filter, cleaned bowl filter is pretty clean. Good stream
refilling bowl.

Also checked intake manifold for obstructions as i had the carb off a couple days and there
are a lot of squirrels around.

I can achieve some good throttle with the choke out somewhere around half way. But it is hit
and miss.

I live in Canada and it has been cold i will definitely check the oil bath filter however it
has been mild lately and i did test with the air duct off the carb with no change.

I am going to take the carb off (Again!!) and really concentrate on blockages in the passage
way. Specifically the air passage for the mixture screw. Also going to re exam the float to
ensure it not leaky. But i didnt appear leaky the first 4 times ... good grief!

Thanks,
JB

Float level setting comes to mind along with blockage in the two holes inside the ventura. One is for idle circuit and the one that's exposed after butterfly opens is the run circuit. Make sure it's not blocked.

Took it apart again i was able to spray carb cleaner through those holes and passages are clear. Float is dry inside and i have tried the carb kit seat and needle and the original no dice. I am still not able to open the throttle without stalling. If the run circuit is partially blocked by the gasket would that cause same issue?
