MF 135 Rear Tires

I need to replace the rear tires on my 1971 model MF 135 which are 13.6-28.
I saw somewhere on here that I can replace them
with a 12.4-28 or a 14.9-28 tire at a cheaper
price each. I looked at some prices and they are
quite cheaper. What is the difference?

The 12.4s are kind of puny like on an 8n, the 13.6s you have, and the 14.9s are wider and beefier yet. I have 14.9s on my 65. I don't think you'd be happy with the 12.4s.

Get the 14.9's you'll be glad you did! The 12.4's on a 135 look a little goofy.
