Is a massey 44 standard hood the same as a row crop?

Yes, unless it is a 6 cylinder--then the exhaust and intake holes are in different locations.

What is a good hood worth?

Don't know---$50? Make sure the metal is still solid where the hood nears the exhaust manifold. Gets pretty hot there and the thin metal of the hood can get pretty brittle. Also make sure there are no cracks in the hood where it is secured around the lower part of the gas tank.
