165D fan belt install?

Should that ?pivot pin? ...be that close to the bottom (crankshaft)pulley? It`s made for a PITA...no, really hands tring to get a new belt in/threw there?!?

Jack your front end up so there is no engine weight on the pin and see if it will pry forward enough to get your belt in. Careful you don't pry on the pulley and break the pulley.

Any tips/tricks to pull/pry the bushing back,No really forward? I`m going out there in a bit & mix some AT/Acetone & spray the HOOT out`a! Would appreciate any other "BTDT" advice!!!
 
if you need the tractor right away, you could go to a sectional belt, series of links

h/f has decent ones for about $25, McMaster Carr has very nice Red ones that seems to last longer
