MF 165 Oil Pressure Issues

Recently my 165 diesel completely lost oil pressure which led to me shutting it down pretty quickly. What could possibly be the culprit? If it's an oil pump is that a pretty involved fix?

Did it make any odd noises when it lost oil pressure? Sometimes the line going from the block to the gauge can get a hole in it, or the gauge could have went bad. Look at the easy stuff first before assuming the worst.

Well power dropped significantly and the motor just didn't sound right. So I shut it down immediately.

That's not good, sounds like a engine rebuild is going to be in order.

If so this is really the worst string of luck I have had with my tractors. First my 290 goes down with something engine related. Now my backup 165 is down!!!! My third string Ford 861 is ALSO giving me issues as I just cannot get it to run right. :x
