Gas in diesel tractor

On our 65 diesel Massey about a gallon of gas was accidentally put in the diesel. Luckily it was not started. Drained it and poured fresh diesel into it, going to bleed it at the injectors. Is there anything else I should do before I turn the key to get it going. Thanks in advance.

One gallon in tank would not hurt one thing. You did not need to drain it, just needed to fill up with diesel, and go. Do not need to bleed it. Tom

I had a worker fill up a 3600 Ford with gas one time.
He went down the road about 2 miles The tractor starting to blow a lot of white smoke, lost power, and came to a stop.
We pulled it home and flushed out the gas and filled it with fuel. It started and we used that tractor for several years after that.
Another time, I put about 20 gals. of gas (30 gal. tank) in my Dodge /Commins. The truck ran like crap until I drained the gas off and changed the filters. I have put another 50,000 miles on since and it's still going strong.

The freight line I retired from used gas as a cheap flavor of fuel conditioner to keep diesel from gelling in the tank when it got really cold.

I accidentally filled my Dodge diesel pu with gas. It ran ok for about 5 blocks and then started smoking, I drained the gas out and put diesel in it. It is running great now. Roy

back in the 70's the fuel guy filled dads wd45 diesel with gas. Dad caught it before he started it. All he did was drain the tank and refill with diesel. We didn't bleed it.

I have no idea what did did with his dieselgas.

I think it was about 40% diesel and 60% gas.

Thanks for the replies. Had one of those WD45's, liked it a lot but didn't know Allis ever put a diesel in one of those.
