Help please..i belive i know the answer but hoping someone would know definately.

I have the shifter cover off and can see the broken fork in the bottom after i drained the oil.I can't get the shift slider out,i assume i need to split the tractor!

If not,how to remove the slider?

If i do split it,which end,pto side or the front section?I hope the pto side.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

To get at the shift fork you need to remove the
steering housing and do a rear split. Make sure to
give yourself enough room to slide the shift forks
out to the rear. There are also detent springs under
the steering that can go missing. The pics are of a
65 but yours should be similar. Its not a bad job.
