Massey Ferguson 25

A friend has a MF 25 that used to be mine. The previous owner ran it without oil. I've been able to find sleeves and pistons and rings. But I have found nothing about crankshaft and bearings. I could use a little help on where I might find them.

Thanks,
Texas Denny

I also have a mf 25 with the 4 cyl perkins diesel 107 or 108 cu I need the sleeve kit and head gasket also could you tell me where you found them I have someone at local napa checking in bearings and gaskets I will let you know if he finds anything he thinks he can get bearings thanks

Thanks. Until we pull the pan and rod caps, we won't know if the crank is salvageable. We'll need some kind of bearings under standard but won't know what for a couple of weeks.
Thanks,
Texas Denny

From what I have been told the Perkins 4.107 diesel was used quite a bit in marine applications. I wonder if a Perkins 3.152 from a 35, or 135 could be adapted without too much trouble.

I found some pictures of the 25 (never seen one). A swap could be done, but it's not a complete bolt together deal. Some machine, and fabrication work would need to be done.

Morning: I found the sleeves/pistons,etc through NAPA/engine rebuild division[if they look hard] for the Perkins 107 engine, so any Perkins dealer will have them also.
The good news also is that the Perkins 108 is the same engine and all internals interchange, except for the head[ different bolt pattern], as mentioned the 108 was more marine, so water pump maybe different. Also look into an older reefer refrigeration unit off a transport trailer, they used the Perkins 107's in those also.
hope it helps
