I am currently rebuilding my lift pump. I am looking at my new valve bodies and the lower oil hole size is bigger in the vavlebodies than what is on the pumphousing plates. It looks as if the o-ring will not be setted in to seal it. It is obvious that these new valve bodies are the wrong part number for this pump. My question is should I get the propper ones or will these work ? Just picking your experance for advice. It is a 68 model 175 with Ipto.
