So what can ya tell me about a Super 90 that is apparently from what I see listed in the parts book a so called lo-clearence. That is a new one for me. I didn't know there were 3 versions. It's a '65 model IIRC serial #DSM 820xxx. It's a diesel, non-mp, did they make many of these? I noticed the 3pt arms are different than our '64 high arch and didn't see anything else in the book for optional. They are bigger, heavier maybe off something else newer like a 285/1085? I didn't look at their parts break down though. At first I thought it was the wr version until looking at serial number then that started the ball rolling. Guy pulled a MF 4-16 semi-mount in some heavier ground, it should have had it's pants full with that! Supposedly the engine has low hrs on an overhaul. Thanks

MF S90 came in standard planetary axle, and high arch row crop models with drop box like the earlier 85 did. The WR is a standard western that never had a three point, just a heavy drawbar. Planetarys were slightly faster than the drop box speeds were so there is a speed change in the transmission too. The 8 speed is my choice as 16 speed MP is very hard to find parts for, and the oil clutch has a habit of shifting hard if the trans brake does not work. The 1080-1085 lift parts may be what you have, not sure if they would fit. The sleeves were chrome plated, thin wall originally, while the 318 has cast iron sleeves with a slightly larger block OD bore, 302 and 318 both had 4.5 bore.

Do you mean like this one? I don't have the lift arms for it though.

Did someone replace the back end? It has the 85 fenders on it instead of the larger ones the S90 used. Or could be an 85 with an engine upgrade as the seat, throttle and steering wheel are 85 also. I have a diesel 85 standard Contintental diesel that I use for tractor drives, has 38 inch wheels, will run 27MPH. I did change the trans input shaft with the high clear parts though.

Good eye. When the mp crapped out my uncle put an 85 back half on it.I think I like it better this way. Must be the fastest tractor on the planet and runs the baler like a song. Never baler over half throttle.

I'll add some pictures of the arms tomorrow. I don't have the right usb adapter here at work to upload the pics from my camera. I was thinking the wr & standard were the same thing. Wasn't sure if the wr was a bareback or not. You're right the mp can be hard to shift. It's a little easier on the 1135. I have to fix some burnt wiring to the solenoid and neutral start switch before starting it.

The cylinder ratchet was the first thing that caught my eye when I looked at the rear and new it obviously wasn't right! That's when I noticed the rest of the arms and stuff were nothing like there supposed to be either. Like I shared with you before there are/were no Masseys around here at all, except for the 3 we bought to collect and play with in the last couple of yrs. That's why it's always good to ask someone who been around them like you :) Thank you

Brad
