44 3-point hitch assembly

Hello all. I recently picked up a Massey Harris 44 and I want to put a 3 point hitch assembly on it. I can't seem to find any a good picture of this or kits that can be bought. Have called all the tractor salvage places I could find with not luck. I think I could figure it out and make it, but if I have to make it I'd rather get advice, pictures, input from folks who already have it or have done it. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to find a three point at a salvage yard. The 44 did have a top link that had a loop in it since it mounted under the PTO shaft. I've seen those sell high at auctions as they are hard to find good original ones. Dad has a three point on hie 44D Special.

Thanks for the picture. The only think on the tractor that is the same as the picture is the PTO and tires.., bummer. This is gonna take more than one weekend to build and put together unless I can find some salvage parts.

That is the lighter assembly that bolts to the cultivator lift shaft. Dad's 44 has the heavier hitch with the wrist action arm ends like the triple models, MF65 and 85 had.
