No Hyd. pressure on guage

only time I get pressure on guage is when I lift tractor up with bucket(tried it with new guage).Is guage hooked up to the right line?

no you are hooked to one of the cylinder lines
I'm not sure which line to direct you too but if you look over your lines carefully you will see that there should be lines going to the cylinders
and there will be two extra lines
one will be from your pump the other will be the return line
hook to the pump line should have continous pressure at all times while tractor is running
 
A gauge teed into the pump output line will show little to no pressure on an open center system. Relief valve setting pressure will be shown when a cylinder valve is moved and cylinder reaches the end of stroke.
