MF50 key switch

I am in need of a new key switch for my MF50. I found and ordered one on ebay. Boy was I disappointed when it arrived.

I knew I was in trouble when the first thing I saw was "made in China". The threads on the original switch are fine thread, these are coarse. When you put the key in to turn it, it feels like its going to fall apart. It also is slightly to big to fit thru the hole in the dash.

If anyone knows where I can get a "real" switch for my tractor, I surely would appreciate the info.

Need a bit more information...
Do you have an industrial Massey 50? Gas or Diesel?
An original part number would also help to find one.

I have a 1962 MF50 (not industrial)with a continental Z134 gas engine. The original part number is 180681M93.

If you find out where to get a quality switch, post it please! I could use a few. The new ones lately have been flimsy.

Here is one I had short out a couple years ago. This switch was only a few months old when it did this. I have started installing inline fuses when I install a new switch now.

I recently bought a new switch for my 135 gas. It came from A&I and was a POS. I then went to my local MF dealer to get a good one and it was the same one only in an MF box for twice as much money. I finally got one from NAPA for an automotive application and it is a lot better.
