Remotes on 245

I would like to add a rear remote to my 245. Originally it had a loader but not since I have had it. There is a valve in front of the seat. I think this is some sort of diverter. If you change the position you lose the 3point. If I can get a remote plumbed in I won't need the three point when using the remote so that's not a problem. But I don't know how to plumb it or where hoses etc hook up. Anybody have a simple drawing?

I bought a kit to replace the factory plate that it under the seat. Had a diverter valve to select either 3 point or remotes. Plumbed from diverter to a two spool remote valve mounted on right fender and two pair remote quick couplers on rear of tractor. This is on a 253 with no aux pump, just the 3 point pump. We put a loader on it. Loader works real slow, due to low gpm of pump. Not the ideal set up, but we get by. Remotes are fine for other things, like raising disc mower.

That diverter valve was around $75 ten or twelve years ago. This site probably has them. Can't remember about the two spool and remotes.

Just re read your post. You already have the diverter. Makes it that much easier. Plumb from diverter ports to spool valve of your choice. Then from ports on each spool to the remote couplers. One spool valve for each pair of remotes. The main kinds of hydraulic fittings you will run into are: Pipe thread, flare(JIC), and o ring boss(ORB). Look on internet for info on each type, it will help.
