MF-65 drilling hole in tie rod end

Is it okay to drill hole thru tie end-the hollowed part of tie rod is egg shaped and I added a front loader bucket to tractor so I thought of drilling hole thru tie rod and using bolt, lock washer & nut on each side of tie rod thru the collar?

After replacing the tie rod on my 65 with fel the indenture was in the wrong place so I just drilled another to same depth.Don't think going any deeper would be wise.

Don't drill the hole through (it will weaken it) just drill a dimple kind of like the old one.
