65 diesel hydraulics

Hello,
No, the cylinder only lifts the arms. If they will not fall it is either due to the pump not moving into the discharge position for some reason, the piston is tight in the cylinder or maybe the cross-shaft is partially/wholly seized.
Also check the 3-point linkage for any seizure of the knuckle pins.

thanks for the help, but I was asking about the remote hydraulics. the cylinder on implements will go out but not back in.

Are you asking about a remote cylinder ?

If so, I believe your answer depends on what type valve is on
your tractor.

I don't believe any 65's were shipped from the factory with a
remote valve.

Owners added them and bought whatever fitted their needs.

I have seen 65's with single acting valves and I have seen 65's
with double acting valves.
