Model 65 rear oil seal...

Not that I'm aware of.

Don't forget that you have to remove the wedge-shaped plate between the bell housing and the engine block before you can remove the last couple bolts holding the tractor together. Best way to align the halves to bring it back together is with guide rails made from bolts with the heads cut off.
A little unsolicited advice there. BTDT.

Mine leaks pretty bad also and will use that info about the wedge removal, some of the later models don't have the wedge. You can also use threaded rod from hardware store.

You will need a line up tool for the clutch when you put the clutch back on. They have one for a single clutch, and dual clutch so make sure you get the right one.

I don't think I removed the wedge to do the clutch
on mine but you might have to do the seal. Rope seal
in there, soak it overnight in oil. I just looked at
a 65 tonight. The owner is supposed to be consider
my offer. Good luck.

It is good advice to use threaded studding to align the two halves of the tractor. The only problem is at least in the UK no hardware stores stock 7/16" unc studding. You would be better to buy long (4-5") 7/16"unc bolts and cut the heads off. Grinding a point and cutting a screwdriver slot will help fitting and removal.

Thanks for the advice guys... I'm not looking forward to splitting it.
I just got it all together. By the way "our farmer" what is BTDT?
