MF 135 hyd filter

went to nearest Massey dealer today to get a hyd filter for my MF 135 serial #9A 120008 and they could not find it anywhere in there parts manuals. Its the filter in a canister in front of the radiator. can anyone help me

If it is the element in the cast iron base it may be the same as 165,175, and 180 had in line with the oil cooler. That filter is 191 855 M4. I did not see it listed in my 135 parts list either.

Since it's in the front it's an aftermarket add on (I'm guessing you probably have a front mount hydraulic pump for a front end loader, or something). If you have a loader, whoever made it probably knows the number for the filter. If it's a MF loader you need the MF model number to get the filter number.

Hi, the attached page is taken from the 1980 UK MF 135 parts book. It shows several variations one of which has been mentioned. The filter body is normally mounted on the left hand side at the front of the engine.
The variations are;
191 855M4 up to UK s/n 85531
1862 918M91 from s/n 85531
1866 010M91 Micronic filtration.
The bowl of the last type is more conical in shape and the body has only one port on each side. The others have two.
