I just bought dads 1970 MF1100 Gasoline tractor. It has the 352 Waukesha motor on it. Hasn"t ran in three or four years.
The main problem is part of the throttle linkage is gone or broke off of the end of the Governor assembly. It"s the tab with the holes on each end that hooks to the spring that runs vertical.
I found a diagram on Agpartsbook.com
http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/PartsBooksN/Viewer/book.aspx?book=agco/651203
PG10 (5th link down - Governor and Timing Gear Cover (GAS)) part #50
Problem is... it is not really detailed and doesn"t provide a part number for the tab and connector shaft.
Can anyone provide me with dimensions for this tab and how it attaches, possibly a picture of theirs, or a source to buy one that won"t break the bank?
I think with dimensions I could make one and weld or braze it back on where it goes.
Thanks in advance.
