unusual tail light

I just got this on e bay. I've often wondered what the larger holes with bolts were for on my 65 tail light. Now I know. I imagine that these lenses didn't last long on the farm.

No no no 2. These were blackout lenses, so if the roo-skis were flying by while you were out in the field about 2 or 3 in the morning, they wouldn't know where the good pipe tobacco comes from.
I have no idea why they invented a half measure like that... never mind plastic on a tractor fender yeah... a great place for wasps to make a hive...
 
I need to find the right size Tupperware to make my
own. Could be any color I'd like. I'd don't need the
gubment finding the good tobaccy
 
That's cool as I'm putting it on a dieselmatic. I probably should quit hanging the rope to swing the haybine on the tail light. This is the only one like it I've seen and by looking at it and the light I don't think it was ever on a tractor.
 
Hi Brendon, These were standard equip for the 65
series and more for a number of years. Seemed to
