mf 20 with three point

I am looking at amf 20 industrial with loader and
three point and shuttle shift. I would like to put
my three point snowblower on the back but owner says
the pto reverses while the tractor in backing up so
will I be SOL as far as being able to use my
snowblower?

It should have live pto also (works off a 2 stage clutch), my 2135 industrial has live pto, you pull the pto lever towards the rear for live pto, for ground pto the lever goes all the way forward. Look at where the pto lever is, it will have the pto positions cast into the cover. For live pto you have to push the clutch pedal all the way down to engage the pto, if it's a newer version like a 20C it could have independent pto that is hydraulic driven so you don't have to depress the clutch to engage the pto.

Never heard of a pto revering when backing up,guessing that would suck.

The ground pto runs off the pinion shaft which it can backwards, but it should also have live, or independent pto also.

If it is a four speed like my forklift that has the torque convertor drive the PTO will reverse when the reverse clutch is applied. The six seed shuttle, single stage clutch PTO will reverse too. Tractor must have the two stage clutch to run the snowblower like you want.
