my wife uses this one around the house with light bush hogging, after about an hour it started losing power and would not hold it rpms. Then it would slowly gain them back and run strong for about 5 minutes then drop back off. where do I start lookingh, it is a deisel 3 cylinder. has a loader, 4x4. will heat outside make this happen? Where do i start looking? FYI I changed the fuel filter 12 hours ago, and full service at the same time.

Next time it loses power shut it down. While it is quiet loosten the fuel cap, if you hear air rush in the tank vent is plugged or restricted. Air must get in as fuel goes out, worth a look before buying a lot of parts.

Check the fuel cap as Dieseltech suggested, and next you can check if the electric fuel pump is running. With the engine not running, turn the key to "run" and listen for the pump "clicking".The pump is located [kind of hard to explain] under the floorboard and in the middle of middle of the tractor between the fuel filter and fuel tank.Let us know how you make out.
