MF231S injector pump leak.....

..tractor is running fine otherwise but has a pretty good leak coming from underneath the pump. If this is a gasket, is this something an average mechanic can handle? Thanks for any responses.....

no this is not for an average guy .just had one rebuilt

If you have good mechanical experience it's not that hard to re-seal the pump yourself, you don't need to take it completely apart to re-seal it. It could be a cracked injector line, or one sealing washers that seals the fitting to the pump body. Clean the pump real good, have someone start it while you look for where the leak starts.

..thanks for the replies fellows. It was a small leak that's gotten much worse; will attempt to find the exact leak point in a few days...
