MF 100 loader

I have a MF 100 loader installed on a ford Jubilee. really overkill but it's there. I am having a fair size leak on one of the lift cylinders. It is a single acting cylinder MF P/N 704 388 M94. I can get all the parts from one of 10 dealers I talked to except for the outer dust seal. I tried MF, asking for dimensions of the seal and never got a response. Hope they are better with their tractors.

So I'm looking for a dust seal or lift cylinder in good shape. Any help would be appreciated. By the way most dealers, 9 of 10 just said no problem we will fit you with a new loader. When I told them I had $200 to spend they laughed.

Thanks

I have 4 New seals for this loader. Do you have a part number for the seal you need?
I am asking $16.00 each for the seals plus shipping.

Forgot it was Friday. Anyway the "Dust seal" is 1 7/8 ID. The double Acting is 1 3/4". The manufacturers part number for the whole assy is 40019-AA. Haven't a clue who the manufacturer is.
I'll try the dealer on Monday.
Thanks

If you have a look at Agco Parts books online...under 100 loader....they show the single acting cylinder with a seal, I believe, Is the one you need? Part number 1754914m1?
Please confirm that this is the one you need?

Looking at AGCO's parts on-line, the repair kit for the 1 7/8" single acting cylinder is MF part number 835521M91 (comes with snap ring 1506516M1, o-ring 1506223M1, o-ring 852140M1, washer 1025564M1, seal, piston rod wiper 1754914M1).

I want to thank you both, all is not lost. I had thought I would end up just adding hyd oil. That makes a real mess.
I'm in Cody, WY any idea how I can get the whole repair kit, it would save me a trip to Billings, MT to pick up o-rings, washer and snap ring. It's a 220 mi round trip.

Thanks again

I can't find anyone who has it on-line so your best bet is to see if the closest MF dealer can get it for you http://www.agcocorpdealers.com/loca...essionid=3830d526580397e61712693d283c3065e165

Your only other option is a place that repairs hydraulic cylinders, they should able find a wiper seal that will work, or if you can provide us the measurements (inner diameter, outer diameter, and how wide) we might be able to locate something that will work.

Wayne,

Could you check the O.D? It appears to be 2.250. The depth I can't get until I rip it apart. and that's not going to happen until this winter. I use this almost every day. I can take it down for 3-4 days and that's about it. So if the ID and OD work I'm betting the depth will be good.

Thanks

The seal I have is exactly 2 1/4 inches outside. width is about 3/16 inch. I can get you the whole kit? I also have one of the O-rings you need. The other parts will run about $15.00, plus this seal Total....$31.00 plus shipping. Shipping should be about $12.00? If you send me your address I can make sure. Also...Can you reply to me using my E-mail at bottom right hand corner? "Send E-mail" I can then send you some Photos of the seal ...if you like?
I will have to order the other parts. Should take only a couple of days to get them. Let me know what you would like me to do.

Sorry I have not been prompt in getting back to you.

First we had to move 1500 feet of 8" pipe. This year was a bear, it was really buried in the weeds. A 4 day job took 2 weeks.
Then my mom got ill and I've been working on that.
I have to go to Las Vegas to check her out, she's only 94.

Finely, I could not find the e-mail deal you mentioned. Maybe you walk me thru that.

Today is 8/18 I should be back by the end of the month. Talk to you then.
