TO-30 Increasing range of throttle setting

Engine runs too slow for the Farmi winch. Adjusted linkage but didn't help. A bungee on the throttle lever helps a bit, but I wonder if there's a governor setting/adjustment to generally increase the speed?

Well, that's a relief.

Without a manual, is it a simple matter to find out how to do exactly that...or is it an obvious adjustment...a screw with a locknut as on a Farmall A?

Obviously it's not my tractor, researching this for a local farmer friend.

No adjusting the governor on a TO-30 is not a simple procedure. If you don't want to buy a manual then go over to the Ferguson board and find John(uk). He will send you the directions thru email. Follow his instructions to the letter or the governor will not work.
