we just made a trade for a 150 with a loader. the only way to get the loader to work is to have the 3pt lever at the top to make the pump run. it there a way to bypass that and make the loader operate without having the 3pt arms up? thanks

I have heard some people say you can chain the arms down (I've never done it). Using the MF 3 point hydraulic pump to run a front end loader the loader must work kind of slow.

The other option is mount a selector valve in place of the rectangular plate under the right front corner of the seat and run a hose from that to the in port of the control valve

The 3 pt. arms don't have to be up. It would help to know how the hyd's are hooked up though. Is there a selector valve by the seat? To run a loader off the aux. hyd's using the 3 pt. pump, the position control lever has to be in constant pumping (all the way up and the pushed past the normal stop) and the draft control has to be all the way up as well. The 3 pt. will creep down anyway but I've never heard of a way to run a loader off the 3 pt. pump without a selector valve. On my 135, the loader is actually slower if the 3 pt. arms are all the way up and it's slow to begin with.

They do have hydraulic pumps that run off your pto (they just slide over the pto shaft), but you will need an external oil tank, filter, pressure relief valve, etc to work the loader. Only the down side to the pto driven pump is that if you need the pto for something else you will need to remove the pump (but it's not that hard to do).

I've also seen some setups that are mounted to a 3 point hitch with the pump, oil tank, and other things mounted to it with it's own pto driveshaft. You hook it up like would any 3 point attachment with a pto, and have to hook up a couple of hoses.

The loader work much faster, and better with a pto driven pump.

there is a valve under the seat with two levers to run the remote on the back of the tractor .the valve is mounted where the square plate is with one line coming off to the valve body under the seat to the controls on the loader, and in order to operate the loader you must have the 3pt lever all the way up to get the oil flow and then have the lever on the valve body under the seat locked in postion so the oil passes through the you can use the controls on the loader. with the return going in the transmission fill cap . i am just looking for an easier way to hook all this up where i doesnt look like someone didnt know what they were doing . thanks for all the tips and ideas i hop me explaining how it works will make my question a little more clear . thanks again
