MF 1080 Bell Housing Transmission Oil Leak

We"ve got a 1080 and it has a pretty slow leak out of the transmission bell housing drain hole. It"s definitley transmission fluid. I"ve got the repair manal for it, was wondering if there was a seal or something that typically leaked in that area. I know the multi-power shifter is located in that housing and has hyd connections there, from the literature. Not sure if they would be prone to leaking. I hate to split the tractor without a reasonable idea of what to check.

Leak could be from several places, PTO retainer shaft seal, input shaft seal inside the PTO input shaft, oil lines, MP shift valve spool, etc. You might try to find it with the lower plate removed while running, could get lucky and find right where it's from.
