Splitting 2705

Hey all I have a 2705 that is pouring oil out the front of the trans at the input shaft, needs a new seal. What else should I expect to need, it is the 8 speed no power shift. Could you guys give me some ideas as far as support under the motor to be able to pull it forward! I don't see much to bolt to and I don't have an over head crane. I am going to split it in the drive way of the corn crib which is concrete. Thanks in advance, Tom

P.S. Since Sweetfeet showed how to post pics maybe I can finally get some on here, seems Hillbillys like me can't figure these puters out much!

I use a cradle on adjustable wheels with supports bolted to the side holes at the front. Also make sure you place blocks above the front axle on each side to keep the front from tipping either way. The cradle has blocks under the oil pan. I would remove the lower plate to find the leak before it is split, you may have a bad line too. Just be glad it's not a 2805, those are real fun!

Did you make the cradle or purchase it some place, I would like one since have more of these Masseys! I took the plate off the bottom and it is coming out at the input shaft.

Not sure what brand, but got it and some other splitting stand parts at an IH auction years ago. Split two 2675s, a 2775 and 2805 in years past with it, and several 1100 series too.
