231 fuelissues

I have a Massey 231 that I have owned for 6 years. I
have never had any trouble with it until a few days
ago. It will run for about 10 to 15 minutes then
shut off like I pulled out the fuel shut off. It
will not restart for at least a couple hours? Can
someone please tell me how to figure out what is
happening? it is a Perkins 3 cylinder diesel.

I have a 231 but have not encountered this problem. I did have something similar happen with another tractor. I changed the fuel filter and cleaned out sediment collected in the tank and system. If you have not done this already it might be a good time to do so. When you prime the system by cracking the fittings it will at least confirm the pump is delivering the fuel to each injector. If that didn't work I'd check the pressure on the pump.
