Multi Power PTO Help 175 Massy

I was bush hogging, and lost my pto power, then tried my Multi Power will not work. Where do I start? Any help would be great. I have a 175 Massy
 
Check the trans/diff oil level first. Which driveline does the tractor have, two stage PTO cluth, or fully independent? If you are lucky may be just low oil so the pump can't keep pressure and flow to the MP and PTO control valves on the independent system. Could also be PTO drive lost at the flywheel on both systems.
 
You also may want to check the filter for the multi-power system up front beside the oil cooler. If it is plugged the multi-power does not work, in addition their is a filter in the Hydraulic Lift Pump, buried in the transmission along with a screen on the pick up tube to the combined system.
 
If the 3pt still works, than the drive from the engine is ok. It sounds like you have the IPTO system, meaning you don't have ground PTO. They both run off of the aux hydraulic pump and both depend on that pump pressure to operate correctly. I heard a loud bang on mine and lost both IPTO and multi-power(mf165), but 3pt worked fine.

I ended up replacing the hub for the IPTO and the backing plate for the multi-power, plus I replaced all the disc for each clutch pack. I had the IPTO fixed by someone else, they missed the fact that the multi-power needed to be fixed too, so I fixed that myself. Hope you don't have that much to do.
