On a 1962 MF 35 with multi-power
I took the PTO side cover off to have access to the hydraulic pump filter assembly. Gave up for now on removing the filter due to the wire holding it in place. Thought I could not cut the wire and replace it in the time available. Do I need to replace the wire? Is this wire of a special type?
Some black sludge on the bottom: should I worry about this?
But the real problem; thought I had been careful in putting the PTO side cover back on. The shift fork is not in the right place as I have ground speed PTO all of the time regardless of the PTO shift lever position.
When you put the cover back on, how do you get the shift fork in the right position?
I have the MF owner"s manual and the MF service manual (both from AGCO).
Thanks in advance for your help.
