Found a nice NOS Massey Category II top link, have un-rusted it, took apart and will paint it. But questin, what are those big square lugs in the middle of the tube for? I have anothier one, very similar, but the square lugs have holes, and there is a weird-shaped turner that fits in, and clamps on up above. [Hard to describe.] But this one, jsut has solid 3/4" square lugs in the middle. What are they?

I'm guessing you have an older style center link off an 1100 or 05 series tractors. The big square lugs I'm guessing are for another style adjuster.....they used a solid round steel adjusting handle that when snapped back down goes 3/4 way around link. The wire style adjuster that's on the other center link I believe is a newer style link??? Do you have pictures?
