MF 30, 165 Power Steering - how to bleed air out?

Hi Guys,

I'll be installing the power steering cylinder back into my friend's tractor this weekend (MF30 Industrial). See this post for more info on that if you like;

From my limited knowledge this is the same sort of power steering cylinder used in the 165's, 3165's, 175's and 30 & 31 Industrials.

Since this is not my tractor I'm not familiar with it.

Does anyone have the procedure for bleeding the air out of the power steering system once I get the repaired cylinder back in?

Where do I add fluid?

What kind of fluid should I use? It has a MF34 loader on it, if that's relevant.

Thanks,

DP

Yes you are correct but what i do is hold the wheel all the way for about 2 seconds than go the other way do the same it may take a few times to get all the out.
